I just need to boast for just a minute. Just one quick minute, please.
We got up early today and went to New Market in St. Elizabeth. This is where the open air market sellers go to purchase their wholesale produce. We got fresh tomatoes for $10J per pound. Yup. That is $0.14US per pound.
Needless to say, we have a lot of tomatoes now.

You got 10 pounds of tomatoes? What do you do with 10 pounds of tomatoes? Or am I reading the headline wrong?
Ten pounds of tomatoes can go quickly! We gave a few pounds to friends and then have had a high-tomato diet lately. Tomato soup, pasta sauces, salsa...yum! Plus they were quite fresh when we got them so they last a while in the refrigerator. This will make up for post-hurricane prices of about $300J per pound. We ate far fewer tomatoes then.
